PURSUE EXCELLENCE IN FAITH AND FITNESS

Transcend Endurance (1)_edited.jpg

Evidence-based endurance and strength coaching for runners and tactical athletes who want to train with purpose, take ownership of their lives, and pursue excellence while following the teachings of Jesus.

MORE THAN FITNESS

Physical training teaches us something important: who we become is shaped by what we repeatedly practice.

Strength and endurance are built through disciplined training, patience, recovery, and consistency. Our character is formed through daily practices as well.

Transcend Endurance exists to help runners and tactical athletes pursue excellence in both—using evidence-based performance coaching to develop the body while looking to the teachings of Jesus to guide how we live.

Take ownership of your faith. Take ownership of your fitness.

A Plan Built for You

Your goals, training history, schedule, strengths, and weaknesses are unique. I'll build a complete training plan around them.

Best for: Athletes who need individual programming but don't need ongoing coaching.

Ways to Work With Me

Transcend Endurance (12).jpg

I'm David Mikel, founder of Transcend Endurance.

I'm a former Green Beret, former Tactical Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Army, and I hold a Master's Degree in Exercise Science.

I've spent years coaching soldiers and endurance athletes while continuing to train and compete myself. But the titles that matter most to me are husband, father, and disciple of Jesus.

I believe coaching should be grounded in evidence, tested through experience, and practiced with purpose.

My goal isn't simply to make you tired or give you workouts to complete. It's to help you understand your training, take ownership of the process, and become stronger, faster, more durable, and more capable of meeting the demands placed before you.
